Wandering Stars up in ratings!

Hello all -

Hopefully, everyone received word on the free weekend that ran on Amazon January 21st and 22nd. A notice was scheduled to go live during the thing itself, but there seems to have been an error.

For those who didn't utilize the free download, or for those who did but would like to show their enjoyment by making a purchase, you can still buy Wandering Stars for $3.99 (down from $5.99) as an ebook or $11.99 in trade paperback. Helena's Empire, the short prequel, is also available for 99 cents. (Amazon Prime members may still borrow Wandering Stars for free.)

During the free weekend, Wandering Stars peaked at third place in Kindle Free's Children/Teen Fiction's Love & Romance category! Thanks to all my new readers for making this possible and I hope you all are having as much fun reading the story as I had crafting it!

With the free weekend & The Wandering Experience blog tour now over, Wandering Stars is steadily climbing the Amazon ratings - either people are enjoying the story or that pact I made with Lucifer is starting to pay off!

The Wandering Experience: Week One Wrap Up!

We're halfway through the Wandering Experience! It's been a lot of fun so far.

At The Bookshelves, I wrote a guest post: A Romance Writer's Thoughts on Breaking Dawn Part One.

Persephone's Winged Reviews provided a review of Wandering Stars. While she may not be a fan of Alice, she certainly appreciated the symbolism of Hell and Lucifer's inner turmoil.

Happy New Year's and a Return to Scheduled Posting!

Hello all - I hope everyone had a great holiday season. My apologies for the highly irregular posting schedule, both here and on Facebook, as well as the scarce promotional appearances of late. As well as moving back to my home town of Daytona Beach with my fiancée, we recently suffered a loss in the family.

So, going forward into 2012, what's new and what's coming? What can you expect from Marlon Pierre-Antoine and the Wandering Stars series?

First off, for those who haven't already seen them on Facebook, there's a modest photo gallery (with more to come) of images from around the city where important events in Wandering Stars took place. Just one of the many advantages of living in the city of Alice Valdez!

Second, I'm going on tour - a blog tour that is. THE WANDERING EXPERIENCE, hosted by The Experience Blog Tours, will run from January 8th to the 24th and promises to be packed with plenty of exciting treats for my existing fans as well as those yet to hear the word. Check back here soon to find out the tour stop schedule!



It may also be of interest that Silvernight, the next full-length installment of the series, is almost out of the first draft stage! It's certainly exciting to know that my second full-length novel is nearly complete and it's been a thrill to take Alice and Lucas in such a different direction while still staying true to the spirit that the first book established. I wish I could say more about the new characters, returning old favorites, or the resolution to Wandering Stars' cliffhanger ending that you'll see in Silvernight, but my lips are sealed for now. Alas, maybe I can loosen the valve on the blog tour - just a little bit!



All in all, 2012 promises to be a great year for fans of YA paranormal romance. Need more proof? The sequel to Mary Ting's dynamic debut novel Crossroads releases later this month! Watch the trailer for this latest addition to the saga, Between, here.

Impression of Wandering Stars

    My name is Morrigan Michele. I am one of the authors of the Blood and Magick Series. Marlon Pierre-Antoine and I are doing a mini blog-hop together, and I wanted to talk a little bit about his upcoming book Wandering Stars available October 1, 2011. Wandering Stars, while categorized as a Paranormal Romance has much more to offer than just romance. I recently had the privilege of reading a portion of this book and found myself on the edge of my seat; riveted and intrigued hanging on every word. This book is packed with action, adventure and suspense.

    Wandering Stars follows Alice, a 17 year old girl with an ordinary life in a beach-side town. Her life quickly takes a dark turn when she meets a mysterious man that quickly steals her heart. She knows there is more to this man that what he seems. Against the advice of friends and family, she follows her heart and her lover to the depths of Hell to prove that love really can conquer all.

Picnic at the End of the Universe

PICNIC AT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE

     "When the Sun has said its final goodbye, giving way to endless night, we will still be together." Zack's musings came sober and deliberate, almost meditative.

     Julia snorted. "Ha! What a load of -"

     "Stop it right there," Zack interrupted, throwing his hands up in a mock display of defense. "I think I know where you were going with that."

     The two laid back on the grass together, watching the small glowing specks in the sky, or at least what few were left, dim and then disappear one by one.

     Julia turned to face Zack. "Why the sudden decision to become a poet, anyway? Shouldn't we be... I don't know, running, or something?"

     Zack shrugged. "Run," he repeated slowly, as though to taste the word on his tongue. "From what and where to? As far as I'm concerned, all we can do is wait for it and enjoy our last meal here for as long as we've got left."

     Julia peeked into the picnic basket. "All the sandwiches are gone."

     "Oh."

     Night was growing darker, swallowing the land and moving ever closer to the hilltop that the last two humans rested on.

     "Hey -"

     Julia's words came more slowly now, the omnipresent silence draining everything, even the sound of her own voice, into oblivion. "Remember in Seventh Grade when I said I wouldn't date you if you were the last guy on Earth?"

     Zack nodded. She had to struggle to see him do it.

     "I'm starting to reconsider," she continued.

     Zack couldn't say anything in return. His words evaporated into the air as soon as they left his lips.

     As the last of the stars went away and became nothing, the void devouring all that once was, Zack took Julia's hand. She clasped it tightly.

     Zack couldn't have asked for more.
